  1. Nicely written article,
    Beautiful hen,
    Stunning Smile on the boy!

Man, I can not imagine having to have a permit and only five hens. But, its a start. Yeah

  2. Great article. Good luck to La Crosse. We can't have them here.

Hopefully they look at your grandson and decide 'How can we say no'. :)

  3. Thank you, Nekkid Chicken and Linda! As I mentioned in the private email that I sent you, I do a little 'free-lance' writing on the side. It's fun and I actually get PAID! I don't make a lot but it's a start and especially now ~ with having not had a job in eleven months and no more unemployment compensation ~ every little bit helps! Anyone who is interested and would like to help me out, I get paid by the number of people who visit my site (my Examiner.com column), the number of comments left and the number of people who subscribe to follow my column.

I appreciate you all ~ whether you chose to follow my column or not!

Now, if it would just cool off...
(and please don't tell me that it already DID!)

  4. Great article! Even better photo of your grandson - tell him I liked it very much, and I don't even have chickens. I do have a baby grandson, though, and I hope he grows up to look as happy as yours.

What a special treat for him to be the star of your article! :) Thank you for thinking to include him... he does love his Grandma and her chickens!
