Blues in the backyard...

I know I've been posting a lot of photos of my Blue Laced Red Wyandottes lately,
but they're SO beautiful...

These shots are of some of the babies that I hatched this Spring

I love the variety of colors

This little pullet is so light, she's almost a
buff laced white!

"Goldilocks" (Buff Orpington) and "Splash"
(BLRW)

Of course, we can't forget "Levi", my Splash rooster...

LaVern (or is it Shirley?) is looking good!

Everyone shares the water bowl in the backyard...

I still think that Splash is my favorite BLRW hen.  PLUS:
she's laying eggs now!  I've just been putting them in the fridge but I may start saving some soon.  I'd like to have some BLRW babies to take to the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival next month.

One last shot of Levi, before I go....

Tomorrow, we'll check in on the Calico Cochins.
I promise!
;-)

  3. That pic of Goldilocks and Splash sizing eachother up is hilarious!! They really are all very pretty! (but thanks to pam, the younger ones still will always resemble dinosaurs to me :) )
