Holly & Ivy's big adventure!

Today was the first day that the piglets got to go outside.
They were so cute.  Followed me right out of the garage and had a blast exploring the snow.

Of course, Sable was there to supervise...

Holly (poor, starving creature that she is!),
discovered the chicken food bucket.

A good time was had by all!

And, then it was time for a nap!

  8. I didn't know that baby pigs could be so cute.
Sable is quite the "Mom". She seems very concerned with their welfare.
Really sweet and wonderful little critters.

  9. Thank you, everyone! I am very much enjoying my little piglets and find them endlessly entertaining. I'll post more pictures soon!

As for Sable ~ yes, she is a wonderful guardian dog. She absolutely LOVES "her" sheep and seems very concerned with the piglets welfare when they venture out in the yard. It will be interesting this spring when I try putting the pigs in with the sheep!
