Baby Cochin update!

I forgot how quickly baby chicks grow and change!

I must admit, I'm enjoying having two little chicks in the house again.

TWO.

Just TWO.

ONLY two.

That's it!
No More!

Mimi's just happy to have a warm place to lay!

  2. Just too cute. I am wanting to get a pair of bourbon red turkeys this spring. Maybe I'll raise them in the house. Wait, that's probably a bad idea...

  3. Oh, I LOVE cochins! I have ONE white one. When she was a chick, my husband started calling her, "The Yeti." She did resemble an abominable snowman when she was all legs! But her name is now, Daisy, and one of these days he will call her that!

    They are adorable. Enjoy them!

  4. Beautiful! But, are you sure you don't want more in the house? More fun? More delightful chirping?

  6. Awww...I miss my little chicks. I was watching a video I took from spring 2008 the other day and their little peepy voices just made me smile!
How will you integrate these two into your existing flock? I'm *still* trying to get my three new girls acccepted by my ill-behaved group...and it's been almost 2 weeks.
